Nosy Tanikely is a small island, declared a WWF marine reserve, located in the middle of the bay 25 minutes from lodge by boat. This is the "flagship" tour of the Nosy-Be region.
Lounging, sunbathing on the white sand beach, or snorkeling (flippers, masks and snorkels) to discover wildlife and marine life just a few meters from the beach.
You can also go to the lighthouse, few minutes from the beach and take advantage of the panorama on the bay.
To protect the site, the camping and the cooking are forbidden. So, restorers of Hell-Ville move to make you a meal with local products. To the menu, crabs, grilled fishes and brochettes of zebu
A beautiful hike, but limited to those in good physical condition. Helped by a guide you will discover the forest.
You climb the mountain and you will reach several summits with splendid views from all sides.
On the other side of the island, you will arrive as you want in a luxury restaurant or in typical malagasy restaurant to lunch. Unless you feel the strength to walk home, the return is done by boat.

By boat you will discover the various coastal villages of the island and their specificity. Antamotamo, and its most famous
pirogues builders of the region. Anjiabe and Antrema coastal villages towards the Mountain producing
vanilla, cocoa and spices. Antinotoro, pilot village developed with love and selflessness by Stephano for nearly 20 years. Ampangorina the
tourist village and specialize in embroidery and wood carvings... And all the little coves of the island where you can
stop for a refreshing swim.
We also reserve a step on a small island surrounded by a white sandbar. Depending on your tastes, we organize your meals
in the restaurant of your choice.
For 8 years we cross the bay and have listed many hunting spots. Wrecks, benches, spikes exposed to currents that work differently depending on the tides and coefficients.
The fish most commonly caught are kingfish, barracuda and spanish macquerel, but grouper (some more than 100kg) are also common. The good catches can be considered as such from 10kg. The average fish is between 5 and 10kg. We hunt as spots, with flasher. We usually leave for a full morning hunt.
Upon request we can organize "great hunt" in Mitsio Islands or offshore banks to track fish more exceptional as wahoo, dogtooth tuna or sailfish. Know more...
From June to November, the thermal wind is remarkably constant. It blows every afternoon around 15 knots.
A few minutes by boat from the lodge, is located
an exceptional site for kitesurfing. A long sandbar
perpendicular to the wind divides the lake into two. Exposed area with its waves and the other side a water smooth and
shallow allowing kiting with confidence. We usually leave after lunch for a full afternoon of kite-surfing.
The ideal sail is from 10 to 12m² depending on your template.
The material can be rent on the spot.
NB: A boat ensures the safety.
With Pierre and Tony from Nosy Komba, CMAS and PADI instructor you will find different spots in the bay. Tanykely of course but also several wrecks and other banks that we will not disclose the name in these pages.
With a fisherman from the village, you will leave by pirogue for traditional fishing in the bay. Frying, bigger fish or squid depending on the season, the fisherman will share his knowledge. A genuine moment.
Generally a day of fishing offshore or more if you wish. Program, trolling, jigging and throwing. Sailfish, Tuna, Jacks will offer their rush.
Accompanied by a friendly taxi driver, (speaks english and knows his island on the tip of his fingers), you will discover the island of fragrances. Depending on your wishes we can determine in advance your program, or if you prefer you'll improvise with the driver.
